Heroes from the Depths Preview Event

UPDATE: We are extending the Heroes from the Depths Preview Event until 4pm MDT (22:00 UTC) on Tuesday, June 23rd, to give everyone more time to play and vie for a spot on the Faction Leaderboards!

Want to win some packs from the new set? Bring a two-faction Throne deck to the event, and play with the new Heroes coming next week in Argent Depths!

Details are below, but we know what you’re looking for… here are seven of the ten Heroes who will be doing battle!

There’s some sweet stuff in there… but why only seven?

The remaining three Heroes from the Preview Event share the new Imbue mechanic, and will be spoiled in a separate article revealing what Imbue can do for you!

This is just a glimpse of what awaits in Argent Depths… get ready to dive in when the Heroes from the Depths Preview Event begins on Friday!

Here are the details:

Enter the Heroes from the Depths Preview Event with a two-faction Throne deck.

At the start of each game, four copies of the new Hero that matches your two-faction deck will be added to the top half of your deck. You’ll start the game with an influence of both of your factions.

The Preview Event costs 4,000 Gold or 300 Gems to enter.

Each run continues until you have either 10 wins or 3 losses.

Players may run the Event any number of times using any faction, but only the best record in each faction will be kept.

The event will begin Friday, June 19 at 10 AM MST (16:00 UTC) and end Tuesday, June 23rd at 4 PM MST (22:00 UTC).

Leaderboard Rewards

Yo, we heard you like Leaderboards… so we’re trying something new for the Preview Event: each of the ten faction pairs will have a separately-tracked Leaderboard that grants prizes after the conclusion of the event. (Note that this is a new system, and it might take a couple of days to get Leaderboard prizes granted.)

Faction Leaderboards will be visible on the web, and will give the top players of each faction pair a chance to earn copies of the new Heroes that carried you to victory!
