New Events: Summer Ranked Challenges!

With Argent Depths making waves in both Throne and Expedition, the competition has only gotten fiercer! Here are your chances to earn some additional QCP ahead of the 2020 Summer Championships!

Expedition Summer Challenge

The Expedition Summer Challenge takes place this weekend, from July 31st – August 2nd! Here are the details:

  • The format is Expedition.
  • The first round of the event runs from 10:00 MDT (16:00 UTC) Friday, July 31st to 16:00 MDT (22:00 UTC) Saturday, August 1st.
  • During that time, players will play 28 games, win or lose, with a single deck, and increasing rewards for their wins!
  • Event entry costs 900 Gems or 11,000 Gold.

After the first round is complete, the top 64 players with the best leaderboard scores will be invited to the Finals, which take place the following day.

  • Finalists will receive an in-game notification, so keep an eye out!
  • The Top 64 will use their same deck to fight through a single elimination bracket.
  • The Expedition Summer Challenge Finals start sharply at 11:00 MDT (17:00 UTC) on Sunday, August 2nd.
    • Finalists will receive an automated invite to join their match, so be online and logged in before then.

Throne Summer Challenge

The Throne Summer Challenge the following weekend has similar event entry, prizes, details, and structure, using the Throne format:

  • The Throne Summer Challenge’s first round runs from 10:00 MDT (16:00 UTC) Friday, August 7th to 16:00 MDT (22:00 UTC) Saturday, August 8th.
  • The Top 64 will receive an in-game notification after the first round is over.
  • The Throne Summer Challenge finals start sharply at 11:00 MDT (17:00 UTC) on Sunday, August 9th.

These events are not part of our broadcast rotation, so matches will not be featured on the Dire Wolf Digital Twitch channel. Decklists will not be publicly shared until after the tournament.
